SARAH JESSICA PARKER only agreed to star in various advertising campaigns after SEX AND THE CITY ended, because she wasn't happy with how much she had earned on the hit TV series.
Shortly before the programme came to a finish in 2004, the actress became the face of both Nutrisse hair products and Lux soap. She also signed a lucrative deal with Gap to appear in the clothing company's print ads and television commercials.
She explains, "The show wasn't a big network series, so our salaries were never that great. When I started doing things like Gap commercials, it was for financial security."
