PARIS 'SET FOR RELEASE'

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton is due to check out of jail this afternoon, with US officials revealing that the sky's the limit when it comes to controlling the media circus which is set to accompany her release.

According to reports America's federal aviation administration has pledged to monitor paparazzi helicopters which are expected to follow the 26-year-old's every move after she leaves a detention facility in Lynwood, near Los Angeles.

Paris will have served 23 days of a 45-day sentence for violating her probation over a drink driving arrest last year.

The Simple Life star, who is to be released early due to good behaviour, caused a furore earlier this month when she was temporarily released to home detention as a result of an undisclosed medical condition.

Meanwhile the wealthy socialite, who has never shunned publicity, is set to give her first interview following her release tomorrow night.
Paris will appear on CNN's Larry King Live, a spokeswoman for the show's host has confirmed.

If her pre-release interviews are anything to go by, the talk show chat could prove to be interesting.

Speaking to E! News' Ryan Seacrest by phone from jail last week, Paris told the presenter that she wanted to help build a safe house to support fellow inmates who had given her a shoulder to cry on during her time in the slammer.

"I want to help build a transitional home so that when inmates leave here, they don't have to go back to the street," she said.

"These women just keep coming back because they have no place to go."

Paris also revealed that she no longer wanted to surround herself with the "bad people" that she was hanging out with prior to doing time and the notorious party girl stressed that she was looking forward to starting a "new life".
