PARFITT TO CUT STATUS QUO WORKLOAD

STATUS QUO star RICK PARFITT is determined to cut down the band's workload next year (09) so he can spend more time with his new baby twins.
The rocker's wife, Lindsay, gave birth to Lily and Tommy in May (08) but Parfitt has been forced to leave his young family behind for a major European tour - which will see him take to the road for three months.
And Parfitt - who also has two grown-up sons from previous marriages - is adamant that he won't let his work get in the way of seeing the twins grow up.
He says, "It's not getting any easier to do a punishing schedule like the one we are about to do. We are working harder at 60 than we did at 30. This year we did 95 shows - it is too much. Next year I don't want to do as many. I want to be at home with my children."
