PARFITT: 'I DON'T CARE ABOUT CRITICISM'

STATUS QUO guitarist RICK PARFITT "doesn't give a f**k" about criticism directed at his band over their musical reliance on five guitar chords. The British rocker insists he isn't worried by the negative remarks, and instead points out that the style was first championed by rock and roll great, Chuck Berry. He says, "It used to (annoy me), but as years go by, I tend not to give a f**k. "Anyone who knows about music anyway knows we use five and what you can't do with five ain't worth knowing. Chuck Berry started it all - and he actually supported us the other week. I just couldn't believe it."
