PARAMORE SAVED BY COUNSELLING

Pop punks PARAMORE were forced to undergo counselling in a desperate bid to save the band from self-destructing.
The Grammy-nominated rockers cancelled a string of gigs on their European tour in 2008, stating at the time that they needed "a chance to get away and work out our personal issues".
Guitarist Josh Farro sparked a series of arguments with lead singer Hayley Williams after complaining about the media's focus on the frontwoman.
And the tension between the band members became so unbearable, they turned to therapy to clear the air.
Williams says, "We all went to a counsellor, who happened to be someone we've known since our band started. It wasn't some big dramatic Metallica/Some Kind Of Monster experience but I don't think we could've done the album without him.
"Josh and I always butt heads the most. We are the closest in age and the primary songwriters of the band. Creatively, we are the most outspoken and with the two of us usually having contrasting ideas, there are more than a few opportunities for disagreements. It works though, in a very quirky sort of way.
"The worst part about ever having any type of bad blood in the band was wondering how much we'd let all these people down. But in reality, we're just humans. That's inspiring in itself."
