PANIC! DEFEND QUEEN COVER

PANIC! AT THE DISCO have defended their decision to cover QUEEN classic BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY on tour, insisting their hard work perfecting the difficult harmonies will pay off. The Las Vegas band are no strangers to cult covers - they've already performed versions of SMASHING PUMPKINS' TONIGHT TONIGHT and RADIOHEAD's KARMA POLICE. But many fans feared plans to interpret the Queen hit on the band's upcoming US tour would backfire because of its complicated arrangement. Guitarist RYAN ROSS tells MTV, "Bohemian Rhapsody' is one of the hardest (songs) to cover, and we've been working on it. "The idea of it kind of blows my mind though, I mean, it would be all of us, plus our touring keyboard player, singing the harmonies. That seems like it would be a lot of fun." The tour kicks off in Florida in November (06).
