PAMELA LOOKING FORWARD TO 2008

Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson has said she is looking forward to the new year in spite of having "plenty" of issues to resolve.

She told People magazine that she was sure 2008 would bring excitement and fun as well as many problems to tackle, including her impending divorce proceedings from her third husband.

In a posting on her website, the Baywatch babe said 2007 had been an interesting year for her and that she would try and meet all her goals in the coming 12 months.

Writing in her blog, the 40-year-old said: "This is the year I do everything I wanted to do – my way. I have so many great projects – for the environment, for animals. I'm going to be proud of every single day – and make sure I do not veer from the path. Stay focused."

The year 2007 proved to be an eventful one for the star with her finalising her divorce from rocker Kid Rock and marrying professional poker player Rick Salomon.

She has now filed for divorce from the professional gambler but has previously stated that the couple were trying to resolve their differences. Last year, the star left the MTV video music awards red-faced after her two former husbands Kid Rock and Tommy Lee fought during at the show after a disagreement.
