PALTROW RENTS OUT CHILDHOOD HOME

GWYNETH PALTROW rented out the Santa Monica, California home she grew up in while shooting new film IRON MAN after realising it was owned by a member of director JON FAVREAU's extended family. The actress' mother, Blythe Danner, sold the place at the beginning of 2007 and Paltrow couldn't believe her luck when she realised she could live there one last time. Paltrow tells style magazine W she lived in the house until she was 11 and her parents moved the family to New York. But she begged to stay at her old address when she discovered Danner had sold the property to the fiance of the Iron Man director's sister-in-law. She says, "They convinced him to let me rent it."
