PALIN VALUES BRITISH HISTORY

MONTY PYTHON star MICHAEL PALIN has urged his fellow Britons to stop feeling ashamed of the U.K.'s colonial past.
The A Fish Called Wanda funnyman insists the British Empire is not something U.K. citizens should apologise for - because it forged links with nations outside of Europe.
He tells Geographical magazine, "If we say that all of our past involvement with the world was bad and wicked and wrong, I think we're doing ourselves a great disservice. We still have links with other countries - culturally, politically, and socially - that we shouldn't forget."
