PAISLEY RE-RECORDS 20-YEAR-OLD TUNE FOR FESTIVE ALBUM

Country star BRAD PAISLEY is going back to his childhood to release a Christmas tune he wrote when he was just 13. The ALCOHOL singer penned BORN ON CHRISTMAS and performed it on JAMBOREE USA 20 years ago, and now the song will be included on the singer/songwriter's first festive album BRAD PAISLEY CHRISTMAS. The new disc will feature Christmas classics like WINTER WONDERLAND and I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS as well as new children's songs like PENGUIN, JAMES PENGUIN and KUNG PAO BUCKAROO HOLIDAY. Paisley has been getting fatherly ever since he learned he was set to become a first-time dad. His wife, actress KIMBERLY WILLIAMS-PAISLEY, is expecting in February (07). The singer also pays tribute to late hero BUCK OWENS on his new album by recording a new version of his festive favourite SANTA LOOKED A LOT LIKE DADDY. Paisley isn't the only star recording a Christmas album this year - he's joined by WYNONNA JUDD, AIMEE MANN, SARAH MCLACHLAN and funk icon BOOTSY COLLINS.
