PAGE 'NOT KEEN' ON LED ZEPPELIN TOUR
A LED ZEPPELIN reunion tour is unlikely to happen as JIMMY PAGE isn't keen on taking to the stage again, it has emerged.
Rumours that the band are planning to do another world tour have been circulating since they performed a sell-out one-off gig at London's O2 Arena last December.
However, Page's good friend, VELVET REVOLVER guitarist SLASH, has stated that a full-scale tour is unlikely to occur.
Speaking to the Daily Star's Playlist supplement, SLASH said: "I'm good friends with JIMMY PAGE so I can tell you once and for all the tour doesn't look like happening any time soon. But who knows, one day?"
The former GUNS N ROSES star added that reports that his own group would support LED ZEPPELIN were "taken out of context".
He did however admit that he would love to see the rockers perform again as he missed out on the December concert due to touring commitments.
LED ZEPPELIN fans may also be disappointed to hear that there will be no DVD release of their comeback performance.
Page said: "It was recorded - but we didn't go in with the express purpose of making a DVD to come out at Christmas, or whatever."
