PACINO WANTS WORKING HOURS SLASHED
Hollywood veteran AL PACINO is calling for moviemakers to slash working hours for actors.
The Oscar winner - who collected the Marcus Aurelius Lifetime Achievement Award at the third annual Rome Film Festival on Wednesday (22Oct08) - believes actors work too hard when they are on filmsets, and the gruelling schedules can often affect their performance.
He tells New York gossip column PageSix, "I don't think the long hours are good for the crew or the actors.
"I don't think this is going to put me in good with the producers."
