Owen Wilson pushed a photographer away so he wouldn't be snapped with his rumoured beau Kate Hudson.

The pair, who starred together in comedy You, Me and Dupree, have been spotted spending Valentine's Day on Australia's sunny Gold Coast.

But it seems Owen is keen to keep the press out of the way when spending time with Kate.

While walking together from a cinema down under, an eager paparazzo soon discovered that the Wedding Crashers star is both a lover and a fighter when the actor reportedly shoved and swore at the photographer to avoid being snapped with Kate.

An onlooker to the bizarre events, Jemima O'Neill, told local press at the Gold Coast Bulletin newspaper that Owen was, for once, more scary than sexy: "We were going to ask him for a photograph but when we saw him trying to ram the photographer we were too scared and we couldn't even look at him.

"We had been waiting for nearly two hours but he was so angry we thought there is no way we're going to ask him for a photograph now," she said.

Mum-of-one Kate separated from rocker husband Chris Robinson last year after nearly six years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences between herself and the Black Crowes frontman.
