OWEN: 'WILLIAMS SHOULD RETIRE TO A HAPPY LIFE'

TAKE THAT star MARK OWEN believes his former bandmate ROBBIE WILLIAMS should retire from pop and just enjoy life, because the music industry has taken its toll on the singer. Williams, 33, completed a stay in a rehab clinic in Arizona earlier this month (MAR07) to tackle his addictions to caffeine and prescription medicine. But Owen knows Williams won't heed his advice - because he lives for the stage. He says, "Sometimes I think he should go off and live a happy life. But he won't because he loves entertaining - and he's good at it."

I feel sorry for Rob, ever since just before he went into rehab news reports have constantly been linking him to Take That. As far as I can see Owens etc.. are feeding off the publicity connected to Rob so they can attract more attention for themselves because they are now making a come back. I wonder what Rob thinks of all this??, especially considering that Take That were the reason for why his life started going down hill rapidly way back then. How dare they suddenly act like they are his best friends. Back in the 80's they did nothing but treat him like dirt, they could not wait for him to leave the band & up until recently I dare say that they had probably even almost forgot Rob even existed. To use the name Robbie Williams in the same sentence as Take That, is a massive insult & slap in the face to Rob. Why does no-one see that nor care about it if they do??? All we hear now is "Take That this & Take That that, get off the repetitive dribble people & find something or someone new to talk about in your news stories, for this is getting REALLY boring...
