OVERWEIGHT SMITH PLANS A BREAK TO LOSE WEIGHT

LATEST: Director KEVIN SMITH is taking a break from film making so he can concentrate on losing weight - because he is the fattest he has ever been.
The heavyweight director piled on the pounds while making new movie Zack and Miri Make a Porno - and realised he had to stop eating and start exercising after he recently broke a pal's toilet.
So he plans to disappear from the limelight and embark on a fierce fitness regime.
The Clerks director writes on his MySpace page, "I've porked the f**k out, man. I'm really, really fat right now. Fattest I've ever been.
"As soon as this flick's out, I'm taking my life back . . . gonna drop out of sight and drop a bunch of pounds. It's the deal I've made with myself."
