OUTSPOKEN KASABIAN FEARED BEING DROPPED

KASABIAN rocker SERGE PIZZORNO claims the only reason he was so outspoken following the release of the band's debut album was because he feared it would flop. The guitarist believed the British group would never get a chance to record sophomore disc EMPIRE and wanted to go "out in a blaze of glory". He says, "In this day and age, one album and it doesn't work and you're gone. We never thought we'd make another so we wanted to go out in a blaze of glory. "To be an old man, look and back and read your first interview telling everyone to get f**ked and saying you're the best band ever."
