OUTKAST STAR LAUNCHES CLOTHING LINE

OUTKAST's ANDRE 3000 has launched his own Benjamin Bixby clothing line.

The "timeless" collection will feature 70 items of US prep style and college football inspired clothing.

It includes wide-brimmed fedora hats, assorted waistcoats and pink sweatshirts.

The hip-hop star, who describes his style as "rebel gentleman", told New York magazine: "There has to be something inventive about it."

"But not so inventive that it's a turnoff. So that some of the greats, like Beau Brummell or the Duke of Windsor, would nod and say, 'Well done'."

The line is completely self-funded and ANDRE 3000 (real name Andre Benjamin) sketched the designs himself.

Style advice was reportedly dispensed by fashion icon Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue magazine.

Andre is also planning to release a solo album in the upcoming months.

Currently the rapper can be seen starring alongside Hollywood funny man WILL FERRELL in basketball comedy SEMI-PRO.
