OSMOND THRILLED TO SHED THE POUNDS ON WAY TO DANCING VICTORY

DONNY OSMOND has another reason to celebrate his win on U.S. reality show DANCING WITH THE STARS - the vigorous routines have helped him drop 20 pounds (nine kilograms).
The Puppy Love singer was crowned the king of the dancefloor on Tuesday (24Nov09), claiming victory over R&B singer Mya and rock offspring Kelly Osbourne.
Osmond suffered a broken toe during the course of the TV competition - but he insists the aches and pains were all worth it - because now he has the mirror-ball trophy and a slimmer figure to show for his hard work.
He tells OKmagazine.com, "At least 20 pounds. At least! I weighed myself last night. Every part of my body hurts, especially my broken toe. But that's all right. I got the mirror ball. Who cares?!"
Osmond isn't the only member of his singing family to compete in Dancing With the Stars - sister Marie took part in 2007 and shed 27 pounds (12.2 kilograms) as a result of the energetic dance routines.
