OSMOND TALK SHOW SCRAPPED

The recession has cost MARIE OSMOND a talk show - her planned new TV venture has been scrapped.
The singer was hoping to launch Marie later this year (09) but reports suggest network bosses chose not to go ahead with the show - and save cash instead.
A gracious Osmond says, "It was my sincere desire to produce an exceptional talk show, produced with the high quality that is associated with the Marie Osmond brand for over four decades. This project, under proper conditions, still remains a strong passion of mine."
But it's not all doom and gloom for the Paper Roses singer - her Las Vegas revue with brother Donny has been extended for two more years.
