OSBOURNE GRANTED BIRTHDAY WISH ON DANCING WITH THE STARS

KELLY OSBOURNE was granted a special wish on her 25th birthday - she escaped elimination on U.S. show DANCING WITH THE STARS.
The reality TV star threw herself an early party in Hollywood on Monday night (26Oct09) just in case she was booted off the dancing contest on her actual birthday the following day (27Oct09).
She explained, "I'm having a thing tonight because tomorrow, if we make it through elimination - which would be devastating to be voted off on your birthday, so fingers crossed - then we're going to be rehearsing til 11pm."
But Osbourne impressed viewers and danced her way to the next show - while actress Melissa Joan Hart and snowboarder Louie Vito were chosen as this week's losers.
The rock offspring still faces competition from Donny Osmond, model Joanna Krupa, Mya, Aaron Carter and TV personality Mark Dacascos.
