OSBOURNE DANCES BAREFOOT TO AVOID PRE-CONTEST PAIN

Former rocker KELLY OSBOURNE danced barefoot on U.S. chat show Ellen on Monday (23Nov09) to protect her injured foot ahead of her finale performance on hit show DANCING WITH THE STARS.
The singer and reality TV star has already pencilled in surgery for next month (Dec09) to correct a torn cartilage, which has been causing her agonising pain throughout the TV dance contest.
But she wasn't about to let that force her out of a penultimate TV performance with professional partner Louis van Amstel.
She said, "The joint of my big toe, I somehow did something to the cartilage inside of it a while ago. And then, through dancing, it's just made it really, bad. It clicks when I walk."
And she's going to extremes to make sure she can give her best as she competes with Mya and Donny Osmond in the TV dancing finale: "Every Monday before the show I have to get my feet numbed. Otherwise, I can't dance."
