THE X FACTOR judge SHARON OSBOURNE has apologised to TV bosses for dramatically quitting the British show and has asked for her job back, according to reports. The 55-year-old stormed off the reality TV talent series on Saturday (20Oct07) night after two of her acts were put up for elimination. But Osbourne phoned The X Factor boss Simon Cowell to say sorry and insists she is reinstated on the judging panel. A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "She apologised for her behaviour and for any embarrassment she may have caused him. "She said she would love to come back."
