ORSON ROCKER HAUNTED BY AUDIENCE MEMBER'S DEATH
ORSON frontman JASON PEBWORTH is haunted by the memory of a man dying in the audience of his show PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. The Californian rocker was performing the last ten minutes of a matinee show when he was told a man was suffering from a heart attack - but he was instructed to carry on singing. He recalls, "It was full of pensioners and the guy was so fat that they couldn't lift him out of his seat. The paramedics were actually using the paddles and saying 'clear' right in the theatre. I was sitting there singing my stupid Phantom music and watching this guy's life ebb away. But the show must go on - that's what I say!"
