ORDINARY BOYS ILLNESS ENDS FESTIVAL APPEARANCE
British rockers THE ORDINARY BOYS were forced to pull out of the second leg of their two-day V Festival appearance when bassist JAMES GREGORY fell ill. The band, who performed in Essex, England on Saturday night (19AUG06), were unable to follow-up the festival commitment in Stafford the following day after Gregory was hospitalised with flu. Frontman SAMUEL PRESTON explained, "We've never cancelled a gig before and yesterday when we played James soldiered on with flu. But he's been s**tting and vomiting all night and his skin is nearly translucent so we have to take him to hospital. "This is a genuine apology, we were going to play three new songs today which I was really looking forward to." The group were replaced with an extended set by US band WE ARE SCIENTISTS and a DJ.
