ORBIT LEARNS NEW LANGUAGE

British music producer WILLIAM ORBIT believes composing classical music is akin to learning a new language. The Grammy award winning star - who co-produced Madonna's 1998 album Ray of Light - is currently working on a full orchestral suite to be performed at the Manchester International festival in England in July (07). But Orbit, a leading producer in dance music, is finding it difficult making the switch to classical music. He says, "It makes no logical sense at all. I'm absolutely compelled to do this, but I'm having to learn a whole new language. It's rather as if I'd decided out of the blue to build my own house."
