OPRAH'S MUM IN LEGAL FIGHT OVER UNPAID STORE BILL
The bosses of a high-end Wisconsin fashion store are suing OPRAH WINFREY's mum over an unpaid $150,000 (GBP81,000) bill.
Valentina Inc. claim Winfrey's mother Vernita Lee has been enjoying perks from the store and special deliveries since the beginning of 2004 - and she has stopped paying for them.
Lee is required to make a minimum monthly payment of $2,000 (GBP1,080) to the store in an effort to settle her huge bill.
Winfrey's mother has hired attorneys to help her fight the store bosses and contest the bill.
Valentina's attorney Joseph Niebler claims he attempted to resolve the issue with Lee before filing a lawsuit.
