OPEN CASTING CALL FOR SPIDER-MAN MUSICAL
Would-be stars of stage are being given the chance to audition for a part in the forthcoming Spider-Man musical, it has been revealed.
Those behind the show, which features songs penned by BONO and THE EDGE from U2, are to stage open casting sessions across the US.
According to producers they are looking for "performers with dynamic rock/pop voices including those with experience in bands and as solo performers."
The show, which is set for a run on New York's famed Broadway, will be directed by Julie Taymor who has previously worked on musicals including Across The Universe and The Lion King.
Previous reports had suggested that EVAN RACHEL WOOD was set to star in the Spider-Man musical.
However, Taymor denied this and the open casting call would seem to suggest that they still haven't found what they're looking for.
Those hoping to land a part will be able to audition in a range of cities across the US in April and May.
