ONLINE AUCTION SPARKS PRINCE CHARLES LOVE LETTERS ROW

Love letters purportedly written by Britain's PRINCE CHARLES have sparked a row in the U.S. after they appeared for sale on auction website eBay.com.
The heir to the throne was 26 when he penned the six love notes to American Janet Jenkins back in the 1970s, long before his marriage to Princess Diana and his romance with Camilla Parker-Bowles - his current wife.
Jenkins, who was an employee for the British Consulate in Montreal, Canada, is demanding the letters' return after learning that a woman she passed the correspondence to has put them on eBay for $30,000 (£21,400).
Los Angeles woman Alicia Carroll claims Jenkins sold her the letters, in which Charles talks about getting married once he leave the Army, but the former consulate secretary, now 63, insists Carroll told her she wanted to display the letters in a museum - and she wants them returned.
