O'NEAL EAGER TO WED FAWCETT

RYAN O'NEAL is desperate to wed longtime lover FARRAH FAWCETT as she battles against cancer.
The couple, who have both been married previously, have been together since 1982 but never sealed their union by walking down the aisle.
But as Fawcett fights anal cancer, which has spread to her liver since her initial diagnosis in 2006, O'Neal is eager to make an honest woman of the ailing Charlie's Angels actress.
He tells ETonline.com, "I'd do that, I would do that (marry Fawcett). She's still a little bit hesitant. I'm working though, I'm working.
"You know she's been married, I've been married. She's said, 'We have a good thing'. But I said, 'You said that 30 years ago, shouldn't there be a sea change?' Maybe there is, you never know."
The pair has a son, 24-year-old Redmond, together.
Fawcett was wed to actor Lee Majors for nine years and O'Neal married twice in the 1960s, to actresses Joanna Moore and Leigh Taylor-Young.
