OLSEN WILL STEER KIDS AWAY FROM ACTING

Actress ASHLEY OLSEN has vowed to steer her children away from pursuing a career in entertainment because the industry has become so "ugly".
The 22-year-old and sister Mary-Kate began filming their first starring roles in U.S. TV series Full House at nine-months-old before launching a media empire with their company Dualstar in 1993.
But she is convinced her own children would have a less pleasant experience growing up in the limelight than her own.
When asked of her ambitions for her potential daughter, she says, "I would definitely want her to have a job and understand what it's like to work and how important it is to be something greater than yourself. But being in this industry or the industry I was brought up in, probably not. It's pretty ugly.
"We worked after school and when we weren't on set we were in school. We never came across any problems. It was before the whole paparazzi phase, so it wasn't that bad."
