OLDMAN: 'I'M NOT REALLY CRAZY'

Hollywood star GARY OLDMAN fooled the world into believing he is as crazy as the characters he plays on screen. The Brit is famous for playing a corrupt cop in Leon, an evil drug dealer in True Romance and John F Kennedy's assassin Lee Harvey Oswald in JFK - and he claims he has been typecast by movie bosses convinced he is just like the character he plays. In contrast, Oldman insists he most resembles Lieutenant James Gordon - the mild mannered policeman he plays in the Batman movies. The star says, "I don't know how it happened. I really don't. I was this...psycho guy. I just got into these parts. "Then it contaminates people. And they think that you're Crazy-Scary-Gary. The closest character to me is Jim Gordon."
