O'BRIEN WINS TWO YEAR PROTECTION ORDER FROM 'STALKER'
A priest accused of stalking U.S. chat show host CONAN O BRIEN has been ordered to stay away from the TV presenter after pleading guilty to two charges of disorderly conduct.
Reverend David Ajemian, a priest in the Archdiocese of Boston, Massachusetts, is alleged to have sent O'Brien threatening notes on parish letterheads, contacting his parents and showing up at the New York studio where he works.
Ajemian appeared in a Manhattan court on Tuesday (08Apr08) to confess to the crimes. The priest - who was placed on leave by the Boston Archdiocese following his arrest in the Big Apple last November (07) - admitted that he had continued to stalk O'Brien even after he was warned not to by authorities.
As a result, the judge granted O'Brien a two-year order of protection.
