O'BRIEN SPENDS BIG IN L.A.

U.S. talk show host CONAN O BRIEN has spent $10.5 million (GBP5.25 million) on a luxury Los Angeles house. The Late Late Show host will move to L.A. from New York next year (09) to take over from retiring Tonight Show host Jay Leno - and he's already laying down roots in California. The six bedroom Brentwood house boasts a screening room, library, wine cellar, outdoor kitchen, pool and spa. The 44-year-old will be relocating with his wife Liza, daughter Neve and son Beckett.
