OBERST, WARD & JAMES FORM MONSTERS OF FOLK SUPERGROUP

Indie folk/rock icons CONOR OBERST, M. WARD and JIM JAMES have formed a supergroup called MONSTERS OF FOLK.
The trio and Mike Mogis performed together on the road in 2004 and now they've recorded tracks for a new album, to be released in September (09).
Oberst and Mogis are members of Bright Eyes, James fronts My Morning Jacket and M. Ward is one half of actress Zooey Deschanel's band She & Him.
