OBERST LOSES TEMPER, THROWS EQUIPMENT AT GIG

BRIGHT EYES frontman CONOR OBERST stunned fans at a show in London on Tuesday (03Jul07) when he lost his temper during the finale and hurled an amplifier and a guitar across the stage. The 27-year-old became angry when technical hitches disrupted the end of the band's Shepherds Bush Empire gig - the first of two sold-out concerts at the venue. Oberst picked up and threw a stage amplifier, before grabbing guitarist Mike Mogis' instrument and throwing that too.
