OASIS STAR GALLAGHER APPROVES BROTHER'S SOLO PLANS

OASIS frontman LIAM GALLAGHER has given his brother and bandmate NOEL his permission to start work on a solo album.
Noel Gallagher recently admitted he has written "lots of songs" that wouldn't be suitable for the band, but insisted he currently has no plans to start a solo project.
But his brother may have paved the way for an album, after he gave his sibling the green light to work on his own material.
Liam tells NME.com, "Who knows, man, maybe he needs to go and do his solo record… f**king hell, I don't know, I really don't know.
"If it (recording a solo album) makes him happy, yeah, if it makes him happy. It would sound very civilised I reckon… (that's) a f**king awful thing - but maybe it's a good thing for him."
