OASIS STAR COLLABORATES WITH PAUL WELLER

OASIS star NOEL GALLAGHER has collaborated with PAUL WELLER on the star's forthcoming album.

Along with his band mate GEM ARCHER, Noel worked on the track ECHOES AROUND THE SUN, which will be released as a single next month alongside another song, HAVE YOU MADE IF YOUR MIND.

"In songwriting terms, it’s the first Weller/Gallagher collaboration," Weller told Uncut magazine.

"Noel came down to the studio with this loop he'd never been able to do anything with. He played the bass and the piano and then Gem played guitar on top. It's a top tune."

Other artists who have worked on Weller's upcoming 22 DREAMS include GRAHAM COXON, LITTLE BARRIE and ex-STONE ROSES guitarist AZIZ IBRAHIM.

Meanwhile, OASIS have recently announced that they will conduct a short tour of North America and Canada, prompting rumours that they may add some UK dates in the near future.

The gigs will be the first live shows from the band in over two years, reports Ents24.com.
