OASIS ANNOUNCE NEW ARENA TOUR
Oasis have announced details of their arena tour to coincide with the release of their new album, Dig Out Your Soul.
The band will begin their UK tour at Liverpool Echo arena on October 7th, the day their seventh studio album is released.
The Shock of the Lightning, the first single to be taken from the album, will be released the week before on September 29th.
Oasis will play at nine different arenas across the country, including Wembley, and will finish in Glasgow on November 5th.
Noel Gallagher turned up to Radio 1 this morning to hand breakfast host Chris Moyles a copy of the band's new single.
The lead guitarist was in particularly animated form, taking the opportunity to have a go at other personalities in the music business.
He explained that Mark Ronson should "write his own tunes instead of ruining everyone else's".
He described Amy Winehouse as a "destitute horse" and said of the Kaiser Chiefs: "I did drugs for 18 years and I never got that bad as to say, 'You know what? I think the Kaiser Chiefs are brilliant'".
