OASIS ALBUM FOR PAYING PUBLIC ONLY

Rocker NOEL GALLAGHER won't allow fans to pick their own price for the new OASIS album - because it cost too much money to make.
The Wonderwall star has ruled out following in Radiohead's footsteps and permitting fans to pay what they want for Oasis' long-awaited Dig Out Your Soul in an Internet initiative ahead of the due date in October (08).
Although Gallagher has applauded Radiohead for being daring enough to pioneer the sales scheme, which turned their last album In Rainbows, into a big hit, he insists his band will not be doing the same.
He says, "That's not our bag. I didn't spend a year in the most expensive studio in England, with the most expensive producer in America, and the most expensive graphic designer in London to then give it away. F**k that."
Radiohead offered an 'honesty box' policy with their In Rainbows release, where fans could pay as much as they thought the album was worth.
But Gallagher is convinced it was just a clever PR ploy.
He adds, "To be honest, to me it looked like marketing... a great way of getting a load of marketing for free really, but good for them. That's what they do, they're rebels and outsiders."
