O LOVES 'ANONYMOUS' LA
YEAH YEAH YEAHS frontwoman KAREN O moved to Los Angeles when she discovered the public kept recognising her in the native New York City. After a gruelling couple of years on the road, the voice behind MYSTERY GIRL moved from New York to LA, in order to disappear amongst the city's celebrity throng. She tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I was anonymous there, you know? Celebrity culture is so out of hand there - nobody cared I was in some band. Nobody knew me."
