NUGENT WARNED ABOUT STATE FAIR SHOW
Outspoken rocker TED NUGENT has been told to keep his political thoughts to himself when he performs at the upcoming South Dakota State Fair after offending fans with a rant about presidential hopefuls BARACK OBAMA and HILLARY CLINTON.
The fervent Republican blasted the Democrats during a concert on 21 August (07), when he called Obama a "piece of s**t" and Clinton a "worthless bitch".
And organisers of the state fair in South Dakota don't want a repeat when he performs there on Sunday (02Sep07).
State Fair manager Susan Hayward says, "We don't approve of what he does at his other concerts, but there's nothing I can do about that. What I can control is what happens here at the State Fair."
Hayward explains she has told Nugent's management that the state fair is a family event in a very stern letter.
Axing Nugent's concert was not an option for the fair organisers - they sold more tickets for the Cat Scratch Fever rocker's show than any other.

I can't believe that they would scold the guy for simply telling the truth!
Ted should utilize his right to free speech at the State Fair. No one should
tell him what he can say or what he can't. This isn't the old USSR where the
KGB told people what they can say or can't.
Ted Nugent is a patriot and should act accordingly. The Democrats are just
afraid of what he will say and they want to limit his speech.
On the other hand, if it was Linda Ronstadt or Barbra Steisand, they are
allowed to say anything they want no matter how political or degrading.
Ted should just take his guitar and play and not care at all what officials
want him to say or not to say. If he decides to say something, it is his right!
Rock on Ted!
