NUGENT LOSES APPEAL
Rocker TED NUGENT has lost his appeal in a cancelled concert lawsuit. The Michigan Court of Appeals has upheld a rejection of lawsuits filed by the Cat Scratch Fever hitmaker against the organisers of the 2003 Muskegon Summer Celebration, who scrapped his performance. The promoters claim they scrapped the Amboy Dukes concert after Nugent made offensive racially-charged comments to a local radio station. Nugent and his band sued the MSC organisers for libel, slander and breach of contract.
