NORRIS APOLOGISES FOR MCCAIN AGE COMMENTS
Veteran action movie star CHUCK NORRIS has publicly apologised to tough-talking U.S. presidential wannabe JOHN MCCAIN after poking fun at his age on the campaign trail. Norris, who has offered his support to MCCain's Republican rival Mike Huckabee, told voters that he thought the 71-year-old was too old to lead America. The comment prompted the revered politician to joke about sending his 95-year-old mother, Roberta, after Norris to "wash his mouth out with soap". And the Missing In Action has taken MCCain's comments onboard, stating, "I made a mistake there, I got personal and I should be sticking with the facts. "I called John and apologised but his mom can still wash my mouth out with soap but I want a hug and a kiss afterwards." MCCain has his own action man - Sylvester Stallone is among the celebrities backing the senator's bid for The White House.
