NOLTE INTERVIEWS HIMSELF IN BIZARRE NEW STUDY FILM
Eccentric movie star NICK NOLTE is giving himself a tough time in a bizarre new interview-led documentary on his craft.
In Nick Nolte: No Exit, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in France earlier this week (beg19May08), the actor poses questions to himself - and then wearily answers many of the queries.
Nolte rebukes himself for a "silly question" about working in the theatre in the film and gets animated when his questioning self asks how many times the 67-year-old has been married.
He grumbles, "How many wives can you have? Come on, come on... let's go on. Next question."
The Nolte study film, which features tributes from famous friends like Ben Stiller and Jacqueline Bisset, also touched on the actor's 2002 DUI arrest.
He says, "That has now been voted the best celebrity mug shot. Are you proud of that?"
Director Tom Thurman was in Cannes trying to find a distributor for the odd film.
