NOEL SLAMS LIAM'S "NASAL" VOCALS
After OASIS' mediocre performance at the Brit Awards last week, it seems all is not well in the Gallagher household.
NOEL GALLAGHER has slammed brother Liam after the lead singer's vocals left a lot to be desired on Valentine's night, with the band's frontman unable to reach his trademark growl and instead opting for what sounded like random shouting.
A 'source' told the Sun that Noel and Liam had yet another bust-up after the gig, with Noel suggesting Liam's voice was too "nasal" and "well off his best", and that he needs to rediscover his voice if the band are to continue.
Gallagher brother disagreements have been going on for as long as the band themselves, so this is nothing new. However, Noel recently admitted to the Mirror that he would make the perfect solo artist, fuelling rumours that he may split from the legendary Mancunian outfit.
Modest Noel said: "If I was a solo artist I'd be the biggest solo artist in the country, easy, no messing. I'd be bigger than ELVIS."
He added that, while many artists have faded and failed to make the grade after they left their bands, this wouldn't be the case with him.
"Don't ever think I couldn't do it. I could," he said.
