NOEL RESCUES BOND GIRL'S DOG

NOEL GALLAGHER has come to the rescue of a former Bond girl after thieves tried to kidnap her dog.

The OASIS star interrupted the gang while walking near his home as they were trying to escape with the dog, owned by The Spy Who Loved Me star Caroline Munro.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, a neighbour said Gallagher yelled at the gang causing them to flee before they could kidnap the pooch.

"Noel was so brave the blokes could have been carrying knives but he just didn't care," the neighbour said.

"He's a tough bloke and he doesn't like people taking what isn't theirs. So he tackled them and they quickly did one."

In related news Daniel Craig - who is currently starring in the 22nd Bond movie Quantum of Solace - recently watched OASIS perform at the Roundhouse in London.

Noel reportedly asked the actor to get him the next Bond theme, instead of "dopey Americans".
