NO TAKE THAT RETURN FOR ROBBIE, SAYS GARY BARLOW

Robbie Williams will not be rejoining Take That despite increased speculation regarding a reunion, according to Gary Barlow.

The Angels star was quoted last month as saying it was "looking more likely by the week" that he would rejoin the beloved boy band in the future.

But speaking during a recording of the Chris Moyles' Quiz Night programme, songwriter Barlow put paid to the rumours.

"People constantly ask if Robbie will rejoin us but nothing has changed," said Barlow.

"We're a happy band right now. Robbie won't be joining."

Williams, who left Take That in 1995, has also poured scorn on the recent gossip on his blog and denied speaking to a newspaper about recording or touring with the group.

"The boys have their thing going on and so do I," he added.

Take That have been hugely successful since their 2006 comeback, with albums Beautiful World and The Circus smashing sales records and tour tickets snapped up in record time.
