'NO PLANS' FOR HATHAWAY TO FRONT MARC JACOBS ADS
Top designer MARC JACOBS has shot down reports actress ANNE HATHAWAY will replace VICTORIA BECKHAM as the face of his future fashion collections.
The Devil Wears Prada star has struck up a close friendship with Jacobs in recent months, with the couturier allegedly promising to dress Hathaway for her upcoming red carpet engagements.
The agreement sparked rumours Hathaway is being lined up to become Jacobs' latest campaign model - but a representative for the designer insists there are "no plans" for the actress to feature in any upcoming ads.
The spokesperson tells People.com, "I'm afraid that is not true.
"Marc and Annie are good friends, but there are no plans of her appearing in our ads."
Beckham appeared in Jacobs' 2008 campaign.
