NO PATERNITY TEST FOR LESTER?
JACKSON family lawyer BRIAN OXMAN fears actor MARK LESTER will struggle to convince a judge to order a paternity test to prove he fathered MICHAEL JACKSON's daughter PARIS - because California law forbids it.
The Oliver! star is godfather to the King of Pop's three children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II - and stunned the world this weekend (08-09Aug09) by announcing he could be Paris' biological dad.
Lester admits donating sperm to Jackson in 1996, while the singer was married to ex-wife Debbie Rowe, and has come forward with the shocking revelation about the youngster's parentage amid fears Jackson's mother Katherine plans to keep him away from the kids.
The Brit insists he just wants to remain a part of the children's lives - and is willing to fight for his right to access through the courts if the Jacksons continue to "exclude" him from contact.
But Oxman, a longtime representative for the Jackson clan, believes it will be difficult for Lester to secure a court-ordered paternity test, because Californian laws protect children from questioning their parentage if they are born to a married couple - and any paternity issues need to be addressed within two years of birth.
He tells British morning show GMTV, "If there were a request for a paternity test the judge would have to waive the law in the state of California, which says that a child born to a man and a woman who are married is conclusively presumed to be the child of that married couple - unless the paternity test is requested within two years of the birth of the child.
"So the result would be on the late side but it's up to a judge to make that decision. So in the Michael Jackson case I say, 'Anything is possible'. I think this is one of the most extraordinary cases I've seen."

I can't believe he's a friend of Michael's. A friend would not pull something
like this. I understnd he is the God Father of the kids But it is up to the
family if you are a part of the kids lives. With you doing this it is just
huting your chances of staying in the lives of Michael's children.
I believe that it was Michael's sperm that created these children and anyway's
if it happens not to have been it was a DONATION, a gift if you will. Michael
was a great father to his children. He gave them a childhood that he didn't
have. I hope the family keeps that childhood up the way Michael was raising
them.
They will continue to be happy children even though they lost their daddy. It
will take some time but I know they will remember their daddy as the loving
person he was.

Mark Lester, i think u are going too far, how could u betrayed the king of pop?
if at all u donated ur sperm to michael, that dosent mean u should father his
kids, if u realy needs to father those kid in the first case, u shouldnt have
donated ur so called light sperm to michael, why cant u live those kids alone,
for God sake, those kids are for michael and they are manufactured from
michaels golden sperm. i know,Lester would like to sue jackson family to court.
Lester u called michael ur friend and u are dragging his kid after his death,
do u think michael will be happy with u he is still alve or can u say u are
paris father is mchael was still alive?.
there is a parrable in my country that goes like this-- if u offer present to
ur dearest one, u dont needs to ask your dearest to pay back the present u
offered him or her after 10years or less than. any one doing this, is a
betrayer. Mark lester is a betrayer. am sorry to say this.
Any one that think michael is death and choose to lie against him, that person
will never succeed, despise michaels death, michael still have part of him
livng on eath, l eva is one of michaels body living on earth and l will
appreciated u Lester or what ever u are called, to stay clear from michaels
kids.
