NIXON CAN'T IMAGINE SEX AND THE CITY ON BROADWAY

Actress CYNTHIA NIXON has ruled out the idea of turning hit TV show SEX AND THE CITY into a Broadway musical, fearing the excitement of seeing the four main stars together on stage would be too much for fans.
Nixon and her co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall reunited for the big screen adaptation of the hit programme last year (08) and the film went on to gross $401 million (£284 million) worldwide.
The huge box office success of the movie has prompted a sequel, as well as rumours of an all-singing, all-dancing stage production - but Nixon, currently starring in Broadway play Distracted, insists the Sex and the City cast is not set for the theatre.
She tells the New York Daily News, "It would be really hard for people to even see just two of us together on a stage. That would be way too distracting!"
